Partner with us

Lasting change happens when a community comes together. Our partnerships are the foundation of our work, allowing us to provide critical support to families before eviction occurs. By joining forces, we can restore hope and create lasting stability for our neighbors in our communities.

Our unique approach focuses on families with school-age children who are struggling financially and are at risk of losing their home. Together, we can offer a path forward and help build a brighter future, one family at a time.

What we do

We provide a comprehensive support system that empowers families to achieve long-term stability and well-being. Our model is built on collaboration and trust, with services managed by Brighter Futures to ensure families and volunteers receive the support they need.

Brighter Futures provides full access to our program infrastructure, including family identification, screening and application processes; training and background checks for volunteers; administration of rent relief payments and tracking of family outcomes.

Family Identification: We partner with school districts, county agencies, nonprofits and churches to connect with families who may need support.

Rent Support: We provide monthly partial rent assistance, offering immediate relief and security.

Family Partners: Trained volunteer teams meet with their assigned family, offering encouragement, wisdom and connections to helpful resources.

Budget Coaching: Trained coaches meet with families to assist them in creating a budget, improving financial habits and building confidence.

Types of partnerships

We collaborate with a wide range of organizations, each playing a vital role in our mission.

Referral partners

It takes people working together to support families in our community. We partner with schools, local agencies, churches, and nonprofits to identify families who would benefit from our program.

We are looking for families who:

  • Have children enrolled in school in the Twin Cities and/or surrounding area
  • Children are living with a legal guardian or parent
  • Are at risk of losing their housing and have no prior eviction record
  • A parent or guardian is working
  • Are available for meetings with volunteer mentors and coaches

The Brighter Futures program is open to individuals of all income levels. Your partnership helps us transform the lives of families in our communities.

Church partners

We partner with churches to make a meaningful impact in the lives of families. Together, we help restore hope and support families at risk of losing their housing.

Your organization can partner with us in several ways:

  • Sponsor: Help fund a family’s rent support.
  • Volunteers: Provide volunteers to serve as family partners and budget coaches.
  • Collaborate: Find creative ways to enhance our overall impact.
